As a former competitive gymnast and cheerleader from elementary school through college, Jan has always displayed a passion for physical fitness. After college she continued her fitness pursuits through running, Crossfit, and taking various fitness classes. However, there was always a piece of the puzzle missing. That piece was found in 2010 when she took her first Pilates class and instantly fell in love with this form of exercise. It brought back memories of her days in gymnastics of using her own body weight for resistance and allowed her to get an amazing workout without adding more stress on her already over-worked knees and joints.
Jan has always dreamed of helping others become healthy and reach their fitness goals. Jan realized she could put forth her passion of helping people become healthier through fitness by teaching Pilates and became a certified instructor through American Aerobics Association International and International Sports Medicine Association (AAAI/ISMA). She completed the STOTT PILATES reformer certification in 2016 as well as the STOTT PILATES Total Barre course and in 2019 she completed the Comprehensive STOTT PILATES Certification. |
Jenna discovered her love for movement growing up as a dancer in the world of ballet. She was introduced to Pilates by her ballet teacher in college and was instantly drawn to the technique and rapidly grew passionate about the rehabilitative properties only Pilates could offer.
Jenna received her certification in Pilates for Rehabilitation & Strength and conditioning in 2012 and began teaching immediately while finishing her B.S. in Kinesiology, Allied Health at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. After college, Jenna worked teaching Pilates at some spectacular facilities to include Canyon Ranch SpaClub in the Venetian, Las Vegas and Lifetime Fitness. The time she spent in this transient community allowed her to work with people from around the globe, and she began to realize that she has a keen eye for choreographing unique fitness regimes for different individual needs. Over the years, she has maintained an emphasis on helping people find the proper form for their body, and as a result she has helped numerous clients regain functional range of motion in troublesome joints, relieve chronic pain, and progress to the next level of their fitness journey. Jenna is passionate about health and wellness, and believes that Pilates is a transformative art that helps improve your overall quality of life. |
